A last cycle through SAS Campus while my badge still works.
A little time to reflect. A great place to work but I’ve got other plans.

Such a beautiful country, with the friendliest people and these 3 wonderful beings as my hosts. Can’t wait to go back with Katharina.
Tchau, tchau Brazil!
A 2 night stay in a rustic brewery, plus some lovely craft beers in Campinas, gave Brazil an easy A grade. Learning to pronounce eepah and apah instead of IPA and APA only added to the experience.
Sadly (as I shared at my confessional) the beach beers Heineken and Spaten were needed to ward off the 40C temps.
Thanks to ‘O Professor’ for sacrificing his remaining cycling form.
No words…except, stop what you’re doing and go now.
Sometime you just get lucky enough to spend 2 nights at a brewery.
At the foot of the Luminosa dirt climb, the charm and remoteness of this place almost makes you forget about beer.
The Milky Way looked stunning. Attempts to photograph it just failed…or was it the beer again.
Like Camino deSantiago, Caminho de Fey is a pilgrimage. We were lucky enough to ride it for 2 days enjoying the beautiful views and 30% plus climbs. Climbs so steep, that any inexperienced biker would see their front wheel bounce upwards as they tumble off. The Brazilian dirt colours the jersey like chocolate.
Dogs are everywhere in Brazil. beaches bars planes neighbourhoods. But they are smart. While we’re getting seared, the dogs enjoy siestas under the best shade.
The dogs are so chill. Cool as cats. The cats? Hiding I’m sure. Dogs rule.
so many VW buses and beatles in Brazil. even Landrover defenders. a few may be due for an inspection..if I were smart I’d export them.
After a hearty pudding at the cafe, the gale force slog back to Settle offers many things. Often fog, sometimes views and occasionally these friends, who are just a shagged as me.
